Pay merchants directly from your BlockPay wallet — at the counter, online, or through the browser extension. Lower fees than card networks, settlement in seconds, and one extension that works across every supported chain.
Visa and Mastercard take 2.9% + 30¢, hold funds for days, and reverse on a whim. BlockPay routes your payment directly on chain — fewer middlemen, lower cost, faster settlement, and you keep custody until the moment of payment.
01
Lower fees by design
Skip the 2.9% interchange. BlockPay's network fee is a flat platform charge plus on chain gas — typically a fraction of what card processors take. The savings stay between you and the merchant.
From 0.3% per transaction
02
Faster settlements
Solana confirms in under a second. XRPL closes in ~4 seconds. Even Bitcoin is faster than ACH. Your payment reaches the merchant before you've put your phone away, with no three day card hold and no provisional credit.

Multi chain compatibility
Pay with whatever you hold — BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, USDC, LTC, or DOGE. The extension picks the right chain at checkout based on the merchant's preference and your balance. No bridges, no manual swaps.

04
Non custodial by design
BlockPay never holds your funds. Every payment is signed locally by your wallet, broadcast to the chain, and arrives at the merchant directly. No intermediary balance, no platform risk, no opaque float.

Browser extension
Pay at checkout in two clicks.
Install the BlockPay extension once. On any supported merchant page, the icon lights up — click it, confirm the amount in your preferred coin, and the payment broadcasts directly from your wallet. No checkout form, no card number, no address copy paste.
Pay instantly across supported merchants using your BlockPay wallet.
The extension detects supported merchants in real time and offers crypto payment as a one click option at checkout. Your private keys stay on your device — the extension just signs and broadcasts.

FAQ
Common questions, answered plainly.
A crypto payment moves digital assets directly between wallets on a public blockchain. Unlike a card payment — which routes through your bank, the card network, the merchant's bank, and a processor — a crypto payment goes straight from your wallet to the merchant's, with the network confirming it in seconds. There's no chargeback layer, no merchant of record in the middle, and no card number to leak.
BlockPay is non custodial: your private keys live on your device, encrypted behind your passcode, and never reach our servers. Every transaction is signed locally and broadcast to the chain. We can't move your funds, freeze your wallet, or be compelled to. The main security responsibility on you is protecting your seed phrase — losing it means losing your funds, since there's no central party to recover them.
No. Once a transaction is confirmed on chain, it's final. This is intentional — it's why merchants love crypto rails (no chargebacks, no fraud reversals) and why you should double check every payment before confirming. The extension shows the merchant address, amount, and chain on the confirmation screen so you can verify before signing. If you send to the wrong address, the funds are not recoverable through BlockPay.
Two fee components: the network fee (paid to the chain — typically a fraction of a cent on Solana, ~$0.0002 on XRPL, a few cents on Litecoin, more variable on Bitcoin and Ethereum) and the BlockPay platform fee (a small flat percentage on the merchant side). For users paying at checkout, the network fee is the only direct cost — and the extension shows it before you confirm. There are no monthly fees, no FX markup, and no holds on your balance.
Most "pay with crypto" services are custodial — your coins sit in their wallet, and they handle the payment internally. BlockPay is fully non custodial: every payment is signed by your wallet on your device. We also support both physical retail (NFC tap to pay at merchants on our POS hardware) and online checkout (the browser extension) on the same wallet, and we route across seven chains based on what you hold and what the merchant accepts — most competitors are single chain or stablecoin only.
